Namaste and warm greetings to you all.

Today, I stand before you with deep gratitude and humility. When I reflect on the journey of Nepal Matri Griha, my heart fills with both emotion and pride. What began as a small dream to serve the most vulnerable children and families of Nepal—has grown into a movement of compassion, dignity, and hope. Nepal is a land of immense beauty and cultural richness, but behind this beauty lies a painful reality. Many children are deprived of education, proper healthcare, and the love and security of a family. Many mothers struggle silently under the burden of poverty, violence, and discrimination. Children with disabilities often face social exclusion and lack access to basic rehabilitation services.

When we established Nepal Matri Griha in 2000, we had very limited resources—but we had unlimited determination. We believed that every child deserves a safe home, quality education, proper healthcare, and an opportunity to dream. We believed that disability is not inability, and poverty should never define a child’s future.

Over the years, we have steadily expanded our work across the education sector, therapy and healthcare services, awareness initiatives through theatre and drama, and sustainable income- generating programs. Thousands of children have been directly and indirectly supported through our initiatives. Each smiling child, each mother who regains hope, and each young person who becomes self-reliant is a testament to our collective efforts.

Our journey has not been easy. We have faced financial challenges, infrastructure limitations, and increasing demands for services. Yet, we never gave up—because behind every challenge stands a child waiting for help.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our international and national donors, partners, well-wishers, and supporters. Your trust, generosity, and belief in our mission have made it possible for us to continue serving humanity. Without your support, many of these children would still be struggling in darkness. To our dedicated staff and volunteers, I deeply appreciate your commitment and compassion.

You are the backbone of this organization. Your tireless efforts ensure that our services are delivered with dignity and care. And to our dear children—You are the reason we exist. Your courage inspires us every day. No matter where you come from, no matter what difficulties you have faced, always remember: you are valuable, you are capable, and you deserve a bright future.

As we look toward the future, Nepal Matri Griha remains committed to strengthening education, expanding therapy services, improving healthcare access, and empowering communities. We will continue to advocate for children’s rights, social justice, and inclusion.

Let us walk together with compassion, responsibility, and hope. Together, we can build a society where no child is left behind and every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity.

Thank you all for being part of this journey.
